Parma Western put together a full-team performance with contributions across every event, showing great effort, competitiveness, and continued growth. From sprints to distance, hurdles to relays, and into the field events, the group competed for each other and made their presence felt.

Sprints & Mid-Distance
In the 100, Lydia Coleman (4th, 13.59), Tori Huang (6th, 13.66), and Allie Coppernoll (16th, 14.46) led the way. The 200 was a tight battle with AnnaKay Marshall (3rd, 28.33) and Izzy Schlundt (4th, 28.36) finishing side-by-side, while Natalee Gough (10th, 29.06 SB) hit a season best.
The 400 group stacked points with Ella Wilcox (3rd, 1:03.68), Natalee Gough (4th, 1:04.46), and Izzy Schlundt (5th, 1:04.99 SB).

Distance Crew
The distance team showed toughness and consistency all meet long. In the 800, Natalie Kuhl (3rd, 2:33.21), Bridget Fullerton (4th, 2:36.46 SB), and Laurel Clevenger-Gri... (10th, 2:54.31 SB) competed well.
In the 1600, Madisyn Blair (3rd, 5:44.27) and Bridget Fullerton (4th, 5:48.57) led the charge, with Tori Wielenga (13th, 6:33.50) adding depth (Kuhl – DNS).
The 3200 saw another strong showing with Madisyn Blair (3rd, 12:49.24), Natalie Kuhl (4th, 13:15.74), and Bridget Fullerton (6th, 13:46.74).

Hurdles
Big improvements highlighted the hurdle events. In the 100 hurdles, Emrick Boobyer (7th, 18.17 PB) and Annie O’Dowd (9th, 18.3 PB) both hit personal bests, while Jillian Rowdon (18th, 22.41) competed hard.
In the 300 hurdles, Lillian Coppernoll (10th, 54.76), Emrick Boobyer (13th, 56.43), and Hannah Sorrow (14th, 59.31 PB) all showed grit.

Relays – Teamwork on Display
Relays were a major strength and showcased great chemistry:

  • 4x100 (3rd, 52.45) – Coleman, Marshall, Huang, Vancalbergh
  • 4x200 (2nd, 1:53.42) – Coleman, Huang, Damron, Marshall
  • 4x400 (4th, 4:23.0) – Gough, L. Coppernoll, Damron, Wilcox
  • 4x800 (1st, 10:28.53) – Fullerton, L. Coppernoll, Blair, Kuhl

Field Events
The field group added key points and multiple PRs:

  • Shot Put: Kaitlynn Knack (5th, 32’ 0.5”), Zoë Magnusson (12th, 26’ 2.5”), Kasyn Saari (14th, 25’ 1.75”)
  • Discus: Zoë Magnusson (5th, 89’ 1” PB), Kaitlynn Knack (9th, 72’ 8”), Izzy Schlundt (14th, 60’ 8”)
  • High Jump: Ella Wilcox (2nd, 5’0” PB), Lillian Coppernoll (4th, 4’8”), AnnaKay Marshall (NH)
  • Pole Vault: Adelai Sharp (2nd, 8’6” PB), Tori Huang (5th, 7’6”), Allie Coppernoll (12th, 6’0”)
  • Long Jump: Charlie Damron (7th, 14’6”), Natalee Gough (9th, 14’6”), Kaytlynn Sawyer (12th, 14’0”)

The Big Picture
This meet was a great example of team-first competition. Athletes stepped up in multiple events, supported each other throughout, and continued to trend upward with several personal bests and season bests. The effort was consistent, the energy was strong, and the team continues to build momentum in all areas.
