The Western Panthers Varsity Baseball Team mercied the Saxons 11-1 in a 6 inning contest.  Andrew Parrott picked up the Win on the mound as the righty allowed 3 hits, 1 run and struck out 7.  Lincoln Levy came into the game to finish off the contest for Western and struck out 2.  Chase Budd and Levy were machines at the plate as they both recorded 3 hits 1 RBI and a Double in the contest. Isaiah Norwood collected another 2 hits as he also stole two bases along with Budd.  Luke Herrington (2 RBI’s,Triple) Andrew Parrott (3 RBI’s), Jack Mannor (2 RBI’s) Bennett Luke (1 RBI) and Brody Parrott each collected 1 hit as the Panthers tallied 13 hits and 10 RBI’s in the contest.  Western only committed 1 error in the game.

In another 6 inning mercy rule game, Western defeats the Saxons 11-1.  Brody Parrott moved to 5-0 on the season as he struck out 10 and only walked 1 while giving up 2 hits.  Isaiah Norwood finished off the game on the mound striking out 3 and allowing 1 hit.  Lincoln Levy tallied another 4 hits in game two to give him a 7 hit day!  He finished with 3 RBI’s and a double in the 2nd game.  Andrew Parrott collected two hits and 2 RBI’s while he also doubled and stole a base.  Jackson Luke, Isaiah Norwood (1 RBI) , Brody Parrott (2 RBI’s), Jack Mannor and Bennett Luke (1 RBI) each collected 1 hit. The Panthers collected 11 hits and racked up another 10 RBI’s in game two.  The Panthers collected 24 hits, 20 RBI’s and 10 Stolen Bases in the Double Header.  Western moves to 6-1 in the Interstate 8 conference play and 13-1 overall.  

Western will return home on Thursday as they play Olivet in a single game contest.
