The Panthers traveled to Harper Creek for a battle between 2 undefeated teams. The Panthers started slow and flat and gave Harper a 20-0 lead at the half. The Panthers fought hard in the 2nd half with a drive that resulted with Ben Trudell getting into the endzone for 6. The next few possessions Western and Harper were at a stalemate until Christian Johnson stripped the ball and took it to the house for another 6 points. With the score of 20-12 the Panthers tried 1 last drive but a tipped ball resulted with an int inside the 10 yard line. Was happy to see the Panthers try to fight to get back in the game shutting Harper Creek down in the 2nd half but fell just short. We will finish the season Wednesday at home against Marshall.
