The panthers played a redeeming match this evening against Pennfield, after a tough lost to the team early in the sesson. The girls battled in the first set winning 25-19. With some communication challenges and errors with coverage the panthers came up short in the second, 10-25. The girls were able to fight back in the 3rd, finishing strong to come back and take the overall win with the 3rd set, 15-13. Highlights for the evening include Hailey Eicher with 6 big digs and 2 ace serves, Mallie Backinger with 4 ace serves and 2 kills, Breslyn Walniewski with 2 ace serves and 1 kill, Nora Gough with 2 kills and 1 ace serve, and Kendra Snellenberger with 5 digs. The panthers will finish out their season next week, starting with their next game at home on Tuesday 10/14 against Coldwater.
