Record Setting Game: Andrew Parrott strikes out 17 batters and sets the Western Baseball Record with Strikeouts in a game.  Previous record of 16 were set by Jacob Sponsler and Jason Bruneel.  A Parrott allowed 3 hits and 1 run in the contest.  Western collected 7 hits in the contest as Jackson Luke continued his hot streak and had two.  DJ VanRiper, Luke Nally, Lincoln Levy, Brody Parrott and Jack Mannor had one hit each.  Luke and Levy had 2 RBI’s each as A Parrott, B Parrott and Mannor had 1 RBI.  The Panthers ran wild on the bases picking up 9.  Charlie Stevens and Nally each had 2 as B Parrott, Brayden Woodard, VanRiper, Julian Richardson and Levy each had one.

Pitching for Western stayed on target as Brody Parrott threw a No-Hitter in game 2.  

0 hits 0 runs and 2 BB’s.  

Western stayed hot with the bats as they tallied 11 more hits in the contest.  Lincoln Levy, Charlie Stevens and Justin Chapko each collected two hits.  B Parrott (2B) Jackson Luke, Luke Nally (3B) Julian Richardson and Cody Spitzer each picked up one hit a piece.  Levy had 3 RBI’s as B Parrott had 2 RBI’s.  Spitzer and Nally each picked up 1 RBI apiece.  Western was once again taking bases as A Parrott, Spitzer, Stevens, VanRiper, Richardson, Luke Herrington and Levy had 1 stolen base each.  Western now has the team stolen base record in its eyesight as they sit 11 away.  

The Pitching performances today were extremely special, but a young man needs to get credit for all of the pitcher's success as well.  Jackson Luke has lived behind the dish for Western this season and is an absolute shut down for other teams trying to run. Western has only allowed 54 stolen bases this season (2 per game) as Luke has thrown out 11 runners and has a handful of backpicks.  

Western finished 8-4 in the conference and will wait on makeup games to be played to determine finish.
