Game 1

Tecumseh 13  Western 7

Western and Tecumseh were in a back and forth match up through 3 as Western held the lead 7-6 before a 5 run inning by the Indians.  Western had opportunities to make plays to limit the inning, but could not make it happen.  Western finished with 8 hits as DJ VanRiper tallied 3 of those including a Homerun and a double.  Lincoln Levy picked up two hits including a double as well.  Jackson Luke (2B), Luke Nally and Cody Spitzer each had one hit.  VanRiper was able to collect 2 RBI’s as Nally, Brody Parrott and Spitzer each had 1 RBI.  Spitzer and VanRiper swiped one base each.  Levy and Charlie Stevens were on the mound for the Panthers in Game 1.  

Game 2 

Western 10  Tecumseh 14

Western and Tecumseh continued the slugfest into game two as the two teams combined for 21 hits.  A huge 2nd inning for Indians held strong as Western scored in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th but could not overcome the early runs.  Western collected 10 hits in the game as Andrew Parrott and Jackson Luke each had two hits and each had a homerun in the contest.  Luke Herrington, DJ VanRiper, Brody Parrott, Luke Nally, Jack Mannor and Cody Spitzer each had 1 hit apiece.  Nally, Luke and A Parrott each had a double.  In the RBI category A Parrott had 3, Luke 2, B Parrott, Manor and Spitzer with 1 each.  Luke Herrington picked up 2 stolen bases as VanRiper swiped one.  

Spitzer and Mannor (70% strike ratio) were on the mound for Western.
