The Panthers hosted a talented Harper Creek team tonight in less than favorable conditions. Game one, the Panthers scored early in the 1st inning on some small ball executions. Golas scored Stewart on a single. In the 6th inning, VanAelst got hit by a pitch, and got driven in off Stewart's single. Bayli had three hits, Golas, and Amber Gregory had one each. Gegory was on the mound for the Panthers striking out 4 four battlers. Final score Western 2, Harper Creek 7.  

 

Game two the Panthers dug deep to battled a 7-6 victory!  Audrina Bisonet was in the circle for the Panthers. She had an excellent night hitting spots and keeping hitters off balance striking out two batters. The Panthers defense played errorless in game two catching all the pop flys and making some stellar plays. Senior Kenadee Golas led the plays with seven.  The bats came alive as they collected eight hits. Maycee DeGroat and Amber Gregory had two, A'Kierra Sanders, Bayli Stewart, and Kenadee Golas had hits. Audrina Bisonet had a nice two run double. Stewart hit a three run homer in the 3rd!  With bases loaded, Savannah Vo caught the game ending hit in left field! The girls gutted out another win with the young group!

 

The Panthers will host Tecemseh on Thursday at 4pm.
