Vs. Dansville and Vs. Three Rivers 

Game 1

Western 11 Dansville 1 

Western explodes for 15 hits in game 1 of the Western Invitational.  Andrew Parrott and Justin Chapko each collected 4 hits each.  Jackson Luke and Luke Herrington each picked up two hits each while DJ VanRiper, Lincoln Levy and Luke Nally each had 1 hit each.  Herrington, Luke and A. Parrott picked up 2 RBI each in the game.  Western was able to swipe 5 bases as Brayden Woodard, VanRiper, Jack Mannor, Herrington and Levy had 1 each.  A. Parrott picked up the victory on the mound as he struck out 7 and gave up 2 hits in his complete game performance.  

Game 2 

Western 1 Three Rivers 0

The Championship game was a pitchers duel as Brody Parrott outlasted Three Rivers giving up 3 hits and going 6 ⅔ innings.  Lincoln Levy came in and picked up the Save.  DJ VanRiper and Jackson Luke picked up 2 hits each.  Luke Nally, Luke Herrington and Justin Chapko each had 1 hit.  VanRiper picked up the winning RBI in the 5th inning on his single.  The Panthers were clean defensively recording a clean slate and throwing out two runners trying to steal.  The Panthers swept the day with solid pitching performances and collected 23 hits in the two games.  The Panthers will travel to Coldwater on Tuesday for an I-8 contest.
