Varsity Softball Battled Strong Hitting Marshall

The varsity softball team couldn't match up to Marshall's strong hitting performance tonight. The I8 match up didn't go as the Panther as hoped. In game one, Western only collected three hits led by seniors Bayli Stewart (3B) and Kenadee Golas with two and one respectively. Final score Marshall 16, Western 1.
Game two, the Panthers only gathered four hits. Anna Benn, Kenadee Golas (3B), Amber Gregory, and Savanna Vo got on base. Gregory took the pitching loss striking out 5.
The Panthers will grind the next three days and be back in action on Saturday at home 10am.
