The Western girls varsity soccer team took to the road Monday night and lost a tough game to Grand Ledge 0-3.  The Panthers managed a few good chances but were unable to capitalize on any of them.  Grand Ledge came into the game with a 6-2 record and outshot the Panthers heavily.  The goalkeeper combination of Shelby Vivian and Bria Frost shared the goalkeeping duties with Vivan making 8 saves while Frost had 3.  Marina Walz and Hailey Dodd had solid games in the back line and stopped multiple Comet attacks.  The Panthers will be back in action on Wednesday as they travel to Coldwater to try up their conference record to 2-0-0.  Jv will play at 5:00 and the Varsity will start at 6:30.
