Western Junior Varsity Panthers took the lead, 5-1, in the top of the seventh thanks to singles by Chase Budd, Isaiah Norwood, and Ben Decker. Norwood had 2 hits and 2 stolen bases in the game. His brother Elijah had two hits as well. Budd, Hez Gin, Landon Kingsbury and the Norwood brothers all scored runs for the Panthers. 
Isaiah Norwood pitched three innings in relief for Western Junior Varsity Panthers. The reliever surrendered one hit and one run (zero earned) with one strikeout. Budd led things off on the hill for Western Junior Varsity Panthers. The starter allowed one hit and zero runs over two innings, striking out three and walking two. Elijah Norwood finished the last 2 innings on the mound, striking out 5 batters. On defense the Panthers were sure handed, not committing a single error. Bennett Luke was solid behind the plate.
