To start the game, we struggled to gain traction against Pennfields 2-3 zone.  As we figured out the zone, we started to move the ball better and hit shots.  MadDog Madi Redovich had 8 points including going 2-2 from the line.  Ellie Hackworth had a solid 3 points going 1-2 from the stripe.  A’Kierra Sanders did what she does and played physical defense and scored 4 points.  Maycee DeGroat exploded in the second quarter with 8 hard fought points in the paint.

We won the 1^st half 23-6.

The second half we made some adjustments.  Madi Redovich had 6 points while Shelby Smith hit a big 3.  Ellie Hackworth hit a 3 of her own and scored another basket.  A’Kierra Sanders and Maycee Degroat both went 1-2 from the line.  Gianna Haggeman hit a long 2 point basket to round out the scoring.

We won the game 41-23.  With the win, we clinched the I8 conference title.

We are currently 12-5 and 10-0 in the conference.
