Wednesday evening the girls made a quick trip across town to JCMS. The last match-up was a nailbiter, so the girls were excited for a close game. They got their wish during the first quarter, which ended up being a defensive battle ending in a score of 8-2. The second quarter the girls got rolling and took an impressive lead of 20-7. The Panthers never looked back and ended up winning handily with a 33-10 score. All the players worked hard and contributed to the big win.
Kennedi Mohr showed up to play with 9 points, 8 rebounds and 4 steals. Phoebe Gin was, once again, relentless on defense, grabbing 7 steals and scoring 6 points. Aniah Parker had a good showing with 8 points and 2 rebounds. Ella Hammond came through with 4 points and 4 rebounds. Natalie Boss, Bella Nowery and Josie Zenker each added a basket, while also grabbing a few rebounds for the Panthers.
The girls are now 7-1 with 2 games left in their season.
They will play home against Coldwater on Monday, February 24th.
Go Panthers!
