8th Grade B Girls Basketball Defeated Hastings

Tuesday night the 8th grade girls made the chilly trek to Hastings. It took a few quarters to shake off the long weekend break, but eventually the Panthers pulled it together and kicked it into gear The team only had 7 girls for the game, but all 7 worked hard and contributed in great ways to the big win. The final score was 38-11.
Kennedi Mohr showed up to play with 8 points and 5 rebounds. Aniah Parker led the team with 12 points, 3 steals and 2 rebounds. Ella Hammond stepped up with 6 points and 3 rebounds. Bella Nowery. and Phoebe Gin each contributed 4 points, while Phoebe Gin and Josie Zenker each worked hard on defense for 3 steals. Josie Zenker and Natalie Boss added 2 points for the Panthers, while Natlaie played big with 3 rebounds.
The Panthers turn right around and play a tough Lumen game tonight, at JCMS.
