On a frigid night, the Lady Panthers braved the bumpy back roads to journey to our beloved destination: Hastings, MI on Tuesday evening. After a brief hiatus, the Panthers initially struggled but eventually found their stride to dominate the Saxons. The final score was an impressive 53-22, maintaining our flawless 7-0 record. Each player brought their A-game, and the standout performances are as follows:

Teagan Dean led the charge with 10 points and 3 steals, closely followed by Madi Blair who put in 9 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 steals. She was working her tail off tonight!

Maddi Sparks nailed 8 points, with an impressive 2 three-pointers. Boston Hoffius contributed 7 points, including a crucial 3-pointer, and 2 steals. Scottlyn Stilson added 6 points and 5 steals, while Calley Spitzer notched 5 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals, showcasing selfless play. Lauren Nally chipped in 3 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals, and Kylie Vancalbergh sank a 3-pointer. Peyton Austin chipped in a bucket and had 3 assists and 3 steals. Campbelle Frost dominated the boards with 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals.

The team's effectiveness in 3-point shooting is truly remarkable. Their dedication in practice translates to confidence on the court, resulting in successful long-range shots. I am beyond impressed with these girls! Tomorrow, we face our rivals, the Lumen Titans, in what promises to be an intense matchup at JCMS. If you want to witness an epic showdown, head over to Jackson Catholic Middle School to witness some basketball magic unfold. Let's go Panthers!
