Western Freshman Boys Basketball lost to Mason on Monday, 73-37.

Knox Archer led the Panthers with 11 points on three-of-five shooting for three-pointers.  Archer also chipped in five rebounds, four steals and two assists.

Cam Fullerton hit a three-pointer late in the first quarter to get the Panthers back to a 14-13 deficit, and the Panthers trailed by just one after one stanza.  Mason logged a 18-4 second quarter to break the game open.

Fullerton also collected four rebounds and two assists in the game.

Colin Savicke went four-for-four from the free throw line to finish with four points, two steals and one rebound.

Jake Johnston scored three points on a three-point-play, and collected three rebounds and three steals.

Jayce Thurman scored five points and recorded three rebounds.

Lucas VanRiper scored two points, dished two assists, grabbed one rebound and had a steal.

Trevor Brandt scored three points and had one rebound, one steal, one assist and one blocked shot.

Bennett Schultz and Broyden Cole each had two rebounds.

Nolan Robinson scored two points, had two rebounds and one assist.

Western fell to 2-15 with the loss.  The Panthers play the season finale in a rematch against Pennfield on Thursday.
