Freshman Boys Basketball Battled Coldwater

Western Freshman Boys Basketball lost on the road at Coldwater, 44-36, on Monday. 


 

Cameron Fullerton helped lead the Panthers with seven points, nine rebounds, four blocked shots and an assist.


 

Western led by five points at halftime and by two points at the end of the third quarter.  Coldwater surged in the fourth quarter behind offensive rebounds and second-chance points.


 

Connor Wrozek had his best game of the season with seven points, two rebounds, one assist and one steal.


 

Colin Savicke scored five points, collected six rebounds, dished three assists and had a steal.


 

Bennett Schultz played his most extended minutes of the season and scored five points, grabbed two rebounds, had a steal and one blocked shot.


 

Jayce Thurman scored two points, pulled down six rebounds, handed out two assists, secured two steals and blocked a shot.


 

Trevor Brandt had five points, two steals, one rebound and one assist.


 

Nolan Robinson scored two points, reeled in two rebounds, had one assist and one steal.


 

Knox Archer hit a three pointer, grabbed four rebounds, and blocked one shot.


 

Lucas VanRiper had an assist and a blocked shot and helped lead the charge on defense.


 

The Panthers fell to 2-11 on the season.  Western hosts Harper Creek in an I-8 rematch on Friday.
