We struggled mightly in the first quarter.   Ava came through with a free throw for our singular point. We lost the first quarter 19-1.

We challenged the girls to win the second quarter.  We played better defense and knocked down some shots.  Lola Berdiner, and A’Kierra Sanders both had a bucket.  Bria Frost contributed 4 pts and a free throw.  Ava Buckland scored 2 pts and made another free throw to contribute 3 total pts.  We won the second quarter 12-10.

The second half was a rough one with lots of turnovers and mistakes.  We were not patient on offense and struggled to move without the ball and pass.  A’Kierra Sanders hit a 3 point basket.  Lola Berdiner chipped in 2 while Maycee DeGroat Hit a 2 and made two free throws.

We lost the game 63-22.

We will try to get back on track Thursday night in the Den against the Northwest Mounties.
