7th Grade A Girls Basketball Battle was Contagious Against Northwest

After a fast and unique start the girls settled in, showed some grit and battled back against Northwest. After finding ourselves down by 9 after the first quarter and 15 at halftime, the girls dug in and won the second half against a very athletic and physical Northwest team. Unfortunately, the fast start by Northwest proved to be too much of a hill to climb as we found ourselves on the losing side 29-39. This brings our record to 1-1 on the season as we head to Hastings on Wednesday.
I am extremely proud of the effort and grit the girls showed in battling back into the game. This group of girls continue to play unselfish and gritty basketball, and should be proud of the way they represent themselves and our school.
