8th Grade A Girls Basketball Defeats Northwest

What a night for our cross town rivalry! The crowd was pumped up and they really set the tone for a great game. We dominated on defense but struggled to find the back of the net early on in the game. We had to play catch up but when push came to shove these girls showed up. We ended with a 43-32 win over the Mounties.
Leading the way was Teagan Dean with an impressive 24 points (18 of those points were 3 pointers) and great leadership on the floor. Calley Spitzer kept us all calm with her fierce competitive edge and her 11 points and 10 mighty steals! Maddi Sparks and Peyton Austin each chipped in a 3 pointer and Campbelle Frost had a nice bucket too. Scottlyn Stillson killed the boards with 9 rebounds. Solid effort from all the girls as it was a very intense and emotional game. We are back at it on Wednesday for our first home game against Hastings. Let's go Panthers!
