The 7th grade A boys basketball team lost another heartbreaker last night to Lumen, 40-37. The Panthers were able to come out of the gates fast to build an early lead, but Lumen battled back to make it a one point game heading into halftime. Both teams played pretty even for the rest of the game, with the Panthers leading by 2 with less than 30 seconds to play. Lumen was able to get to the foul line and knock down a couple free throws to tie the game up at 37.  Unfortunately, we were unable to handle the Titans pressure defense and turned the ball over.  Lumen was then able to get a look at the basket for a 3 that went in.  Despite the loss, the Panthers battled the entire game and continue to improve.  This brings our record to 3-6 and we travel to Coldwater on Wednesday.
