The JV Lady Panthers played their first home game against West Catholic.  The team came out strong and won the first quarter 10-9 with solid ball movement and good shot selection.  The second quarter did not go their way and lost it 14-4.  They got back on track in the third quarter with Ellie Hackworth and Shelby Smith leading the way and won it 8-5.  The team made an outstanding run in the 4th quarter playing gritty defense and rebounding the ball well but just couldn't get enough shots to fall.  The final score was 40-31.

Freshman Ellie Hackworth and Sophomore Shelby Smith led scoring with 9 apiece followed by freshman Maycee DeGroat with 7 and Sophomore Madi Redovich(Maddog) with 6.

The Lady Panthers will travel Tuesday to take on Lake Fenton.
