The 8th grade A basketball team hosted Hastings yesterday evening and dominated every aspect of the game and came away with a convincing victory, 55-24.  

 

The Panthers outrebounded Hastings 40-20 led by Joel Toyer who snatched 8 boards.  Ethan Harris and Edan Mast each made a pair of three's and finished with 6 points apiece.  The team took care of the basketball extremely well and only had 4 turnovers while Lincoln Warner led the team in assists with 4 dimes.  Dom Galloway once again led the Panthers in scoring with 12 points, shooting 6-10 from the field.  

 

Chase Forcier was able to score 2 points and grab 2 rebounds in limited action in his first game back since returning from an ankle injury suffered during football season.

 

The win brings the Panthers record to 3-1 and turn their attention to a tough schedule next week as they travel to Harper Creek on Tuesday and host Marshall on Thursday.
