The 7th grade boys basketball A team lost a nail biter last night to Northwest, 33-32. After a rough first quarter that saw the Panthers score only a free throw, we regrouped and were able to turn up the pressure to get ourselves back into the game. The second half was a game of runs as each team looked like they were ready to take control of the game, but then the other team would bounce back. Down by 1 with 3 seconds left, Derek Boldt attempted a half court shot that rolled just off the front of the rim. This brings our record to 1-2 and we make the long trip to Hastings on Thursday to look to get back on the winning track.
