The Western JV Football team traveled to Haslett on Thursday and picked up a big road win,  Defeating Haslett 28-14.  The Panthers continue to show growth and grit as the season finishes up this week.  

The offense again found success in the run game as Camden Cole picked up 94 yards and two 2pt conversions.  Lincoln Levy tallied up 54 yards on the ground and finished with 2 rushing Touchdowns and 1 passing Touchdown.  Knox Archer ran for 49 yards on 9 carries.  Charlie Stevens picked up one reception and Andrew Parrott had 3 receptions for 41 yards and a Touchdown.  Josh Riley added another punt return Touchdown to his collection as he made a timely 45 yards return for the Panthers.  Defensively Stevens picked up another interception on the season and Riley added a fumble recovery. The Panthers were terrific on the defensive side of the ball as Dexter Videto picked up 4 tackles along with Alex Delor.  Ari Maynard, Stevens, Cole, and Morgan Cameron each had 3 tackles.  Parrott, Easton Jones and Riley picked up 2 tackles each.  Gavin Ethridge, Parrott and Archer each had a sack in the contest.  The Panthers will finish up their season on the road as they travel to Portage Northern on Thursday.
