SHE ... IS KAIA, BRUNEEL.

If you know her at all .... you know she suffered from COVID her freshman year, which morphed into "long-term COVID" or Amplified Muscular Skeletal Pain Syndrome (AMPS) for much longer than she ever expected. Kaia missed half of her freshman year of golf and her entire sophomore year. I, as her coach, suffered along with her.

Prayers were answered when she rejoined my team her Junior year. She has worked fervently to regain her physical, emotional, and mental strength. She spent endless hours improving and perfecting her game. The outcome of all her hard work .... a trip to the Divison 3 State Finals her Senior year!

You, Kaia, are a walking testimony of true strength! Over the last two days at the state competition, you never wavered in confidence, grit, and determination. You filled me and those who witnessed your amazing game with so much joy!

Good luck with the next chapter of your golf journey! We are rooting for you! Always keep that passion!
