The Western Varsity Volleyball team took the long haul to Bronson on Thursday evening for their tri. The Panthers faced Athens in the first match. They were able to walk away with a sweep with scores of 25-9, 25-16 and 25-15.   Next, the Panthers took on a well disciplined Bronson team.  Western came out strong offensively and defensively, winning the first set 25-19.  In the second and third set, they struggled to put everything together falling 18-25 and 18-25.  In the fourth set of the evening, the Panthers came together as a team and were able to find the win 25-20.  However, in the final set of the evening, the Panthers started off with a few errors but fought hard yet were unable to come up with the victory, losing 15-11.
