The Western JV Football team traveled to Harper Creek last Thursday and were defeated by the Beavers.  Harper Creek took control early and did not slow down.  The Panthers were set back by early turnovers and could not overcome the mistakes.  Knox Archer ran for 59 yards and recovered a fumble.  Charlies Stevens had 65 yards receiving and scored a Touchdown for the Panthers.  Andrew Parrott threw for 72 yards and a Touchdown.  Amare Eddings had a nice reception on the night and Camden Cole continued to run the ball strong.  Defensively the Panthers were led by Gavin Ethridge and Alex Delor with 6 tackles each.  Dexter Videto collected 5 tackles while Josh Riley and Zach White each had 4.  White also picked up an interception in the contest.  Riley was relentless on his kickoff returns as he ran with authority and gave great effort.  The Panthers will return home this Thursday as they face off against the Mounties of Northwest.
