JV Volleyball Wins Hanover Invite

JV Volleyball spent a long and tiring day fighting for a tournament championship at the Hanover Horton Invite going undefeated during the entire tournament. The Panthers played the first game of the morning and continued all evening into 7pm for the championship game on homecoming night. We started our day playing Addison winning both sets 25-12 and 25-16. Next, the Panthers had to dig deep for a win against Colon and finished the first set 25-21 but took the second set easily at 25-10. Western then faced Camden Frontier winning 25-12 and 25-6. This seeded Western first out of pool play in the Gold bracket.
In bracket play Western played Hudson first winning both set 25-14 and 25-10. Next, we faced Hanover Horton in a closer match but finishing with a win in two sets 25-17 and 25-19. The final match came against the 2nd seeded Northwest. In a very exciting game Western was able to clinch the victory 25-19 and 25-14. Congratulations to all the ladies who spent their day working so hard!
