JV Volleyball Defeated Coldwater

The Western JV volleyball team traveled to Coldwater Wednesday for another I-8 match. While Coldwater seemed to be rather evenly matched with the Panthers we were able to walk away with a win in two hard fought sets. The Panthers were able to control the first set and ended in a score of 25-18.
With Coldwater’s fans cheering loudly, we knew they would come out strong and they did just that. We found ourselves down in the game early and struggled with defense and missed serves. However, Western was able to work together to dig out of a deficit and continue on to win the second set 25-22. Great work to all the ladies! Next up, the Western JV volleyball team will take on Harper Creek in a home match Wednesday. Come cheer on our lady Panthers!
