Congratulations, Western Girls' Golf for placing 4th overall in the I8 Conference! Cedar Creek was a force to be reckoned with on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. The team finished with their best team score of the season - 404. Senior, Kaia Bruneel, played her best round of the season, carding an 85. Kaia was the medalist of the round and was awarded All-Conference, #2 golfer overall. Kaia had 3 pars and 2 birdies! Senior, Grace Raines, had her personal best round, shooting a 101! She had 1 par and her first-ever birdie! Senior, Cami Boldt, kept her head up, worked hard, had 3 pars, and finished with a 103. Freshman, Jillian Barnes, fought through some extremely frustrating holes and finished with a score of 115; 1 par! Junior, Riley Howe, shot a 121 and refrained from getting any 10s on the holes she played today! Even though Cedar Creek put up quite the fight, freshman Taryn Sawyer was filled with integrity, determination, and grit. She finished with a score of 134.
