The 7th Grade Maroon (A) team hosted the Marshall RedHawks at home Tuesday night 9/24. The Lady Panthers came together and worked better as a team achieving 6 pass, set, hit combinations but unfortunately due to dropped balls and service errors they could not pull off the win. Set 1 score was 20-25, set 2 was 13-25, and set 3 was 15-8. Scoring for the Panthers were Breslyn Walniewski (6 aces), Malli Backinger (1 kill), Leah Gernard (1 ace), Nora Gough (2 aces, 1 kill), Gracie Shrock (2 aces, 1 kill), Addison Beshara (1 ace), and Anabella Kaley (1 ace). Assisting at the net and on defense was Morgan Smith, Chloe Lewis, Harper Backinger, Hailey Eicher, and Rylee Wyllis. The Lady Panthers travel to Harper Creek on Thursday 9/26.
