Panthers fell to the Saxtons at home on Thursday, September 19th. Turnovers were the nemesis of the Panthers as they fell to Hastings 34-12. Five turnovers handcuffed the Panthers during key drives and put the ball back into the hands of the running attack of Hastings. Huge offensive performances out of Knox Archer, Josh Riley and Dexter Videto. The Panthers tallied 253 rushing yards. Riley 76 yards 1 Touchdown, Archer 83 yards 2 point conversion and Videto with 94 yards and 1 Touchdown. Charlie Stevens had 2 nice receptions on the night. Defensively Videto was exceptional. Denny Pombier had a terrific game on the line and Zach White has stepped in and performed well to fill many roles as the team is still suffering many injuries. The Panthers will be back in action on Thursday at home as they host the Cardinals of Coldwater. Please come out and support the Panthers as they have shown tremendous grit and toughness playing roles to fill in for injured teammates. We are proud of their effort and determination.
