Last night our Freshman Volleyball Girls travelled all the way to Hastings to take on the Saxons. We came out strong in the first set winning 25-19. Addi Yanovich, Addie Brown and Laklee Ojeda both had 4 serves each. Peyton Miskowski had one serve and Ryleigh Wellman had a kill. In the second set our team fell apart at the seams and were unable to dig themselves out of the hole they were put into by the Saxons. After getting in a rut and trying their best to get back on track we lost the second set 11-25. Determined to take home the win, we tried our very best to beat them in the third set. We gained some energy back, we had our Varsity team and JV team cheering us on from behind the bench, but we gave them too many chances. We played really well in the first set and we saw a little bit of that spark in the third set as well. It wasn’t enough to take home the win and we lost the third set 11-15. Come out and support us Monday at home! Cheer on our lady panthers and help them turn things around by encouraging them to a victory. To wrap things up, we had one noteworthy performance by Kaitie Knack with two kills and fiery energy the entire game. We appreciate those who made the trip out to Hastings and for supporting our team through our ups and downs. Go Panthers!
