Next off the court was junior #4 singles Jack Spooner (9-3 on the season) with a smooth 6-0, 6-1 victory. With some battles at the #2 singles, #3 and #4 doubles spots. The boys needed a fifth win to secure a team victory. Our fellow half Canadian #3 singles Aidan Carter battled in the first set but fell short by a score of 4-6. After going up in the second set 3-0, the opponent snuck a couple of games before Aidan took over to win the second at 6-2. The match would come down to a tiebreaker to 10 points at #3 singles. The big fella from Western got the job done by a score of 10-5 to win his match and the match for the team. Great job Aidan!
