The Western JV Football team traveled to Marshall on Thursday September 12th.  The Panthers went into halftime down 0-6 and put up a tough fight but fell to the Redhawks 26-6.  The Panthers were short handed on the night as injuries have hit the Panthers hard the last two weeks.  The players on the field were tough and showed a ton of grit as they battled throughout the game.  Defensively the Panthers were led by Gavin Ethridge with 6 tackles, Zach White with 5, Dex Videto 5 tackles, Alex Delor 4 and Charlie Stevens with 2 tackles and an interception.  Andrew Parrott threw for 90 yards and 1 Touchdown.  Amare Eddings pulled in 5 receptions for 70 yards and a Touchdown as Easton Jones caught 2 passes for 20 yards.  Knox Archer was the leading rusher for the Panthers as he gained 31 yards.  The Panthers could only muster 86 yards on the ground.  The Panthers will return to action on Thursday at home vs. Hastings.
