Middle School Boys Cross Country

I-8 Conference Jamboree at Harper Creek

Logan Cristian ran a time of 11:32.4 to win the I-8 Conference Jamboree at Harper Creek on Tuesday, leading the Western Middle School Boys Cross Country team to a first place finish.

Cristian, Leland Sowle (11:38.2), Micah Good (12:02.7) and Josiah Rivera (12:10.1) rounded out the top four finishes as Western scored 16 team points, one point away from a perfect score.  

Landon Koch finished in 6th place with a time of 12:15.3 to complete the scoring for Western.

Ben Greenslade (13:45.3), Leo Zhang (14:16.1) and Jacob Kubish (15:20.5) finished as the top three 7th graders for Western, landing in 11th, 17th and 36th place in a race of 108 runners. 

Quentin Woods (16:02.1), Liam Rivera (16:52.0) and Titus Clanton (17:00.0) finished as the top three 6th grade runners for Western, finishing 43rd, 49th and 51st.

All 30 Western runners finished the race on a day with temperatures near 85 degrees.

Sawyer Macomber placed 32nd with a time of 15:17.0.  Griffin Baker also finished 35th with a time of 15:19.2.

The Western Middle School Boys Cross Country team travels to Ella Sharp Park to run the Jackson High Invitational next Friday.
