Madisyn Blair won the Lakeview Invitational Girls Cross Country race on Saturday with a time of 12:45.7, leading the Lady Panthers to a 4th place team finish.

Alivia Stahley was the top Western 7th Grader, finishing 17th with a time of 14:19.3.  Mackenzie Greenslade led all Western Lady 6th Graders with a time of 14:25.6, also earning a top-25 medal at 25th place.

Five Lady Panthers finished in the top 28, including Ella Hammond who finished in 27th place with a time of 14:33.1, and Laila Rotich who finished 28th at 14:33.6.

Alivia Pluta also cracked the top 100 in a field of 275 runners, landing in 95th place with a time of 16:20.5.

Adalynn Newton and Katelee Carothers both finished in the top 125, securing 120th and 124th places with times of 17:01.7 and 17:05.9 respectively.

All 16 Western Girls runners finished the race on Saturday, helping the team earn fourth place honors.

 

The Middle School Girls Cross Country team competes again on Tuesday at the I-8 Jamboree at Harper Creek.
