JV Volleyball Wins Marshall Invite!

The Western JV volleyball team competed at the Marshall Invitational Saturday and came home invitational champions. The Panthers fought hard all day with many close games. They ended up 1st in pool play and seeded 2nd overall out of a field of 12 teams. The record for the day was 11-1. The final match was between Western and Harper Creek with Western winning the first set 25-22. The second set was intense with the teams often trading points and the Panthers having to come from behind to take the lead. The Panthers closed out the final set 28-26 for the championship win. Next up the Panthers have a home tri meet against Battle Creek Central and Eaton Rapids.
