Varsity Tennis Travels to Portland

Western (#7) boys tennis traveled to Portland on Saturday to compete against Forest Hills Eastern (#6), Big Rapids (#8) and Portland. After a long day of competitive tennis, Western fell short to both Big Rapids and FHE by scores of 2-6 but came away with a victory over Portland 5-3.
Highlights on the day include #1 singles sophomore Lucas Parrott finishing as the runner up and #4 singles junior Jack Spooner winning the flight outright.
Next up, the Panthers will host Lansing Catholic on Tuesday at 4pm.
