Western Freshman Basketball ended their season by defeating Harper Creek on Thursday, 58-35.

Easton Jones led the way for the Panthers with 15 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and a blocked shot.

Lucas Parrott got a 1 Division Rating at Choir Festival, then joined the team in the second quarter and chipped in 8 points, 6 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot.

Luke Herrington scored 7 points to go with 5 rebounds, 3 steals, 1 assist and 1 blocked shot.

The Panthers guards took care of the ball and broke the Harper Creek press.  Tony Miller scored 6 points, grabbed 5 steals, had 3 assists and secured 1 rebound.  Andrew Boldt scored 9 points to go with 5 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot.

Ben Decker scored 5 points along with 2 rebounds.

Chase Budd scored 2 points to go with 4 rebounds, 4 steals and a blocked shot.

De’Andrae Akines scored 2 points, handled 5 rebounds and grabbed 1 steal.

Jacob Wielenga handled 2 rebounds, dished 2 assists and grabbed 1 steal.

Aaron Chapko scored 2 points, grabbed 2 rebounds and dished 2 assists.

Amare Eddings collected 3 rebounds.

The Freshman Panthers finished the season with an 11-9 record and 8-4 in I8 Conference play.
