JV volleyball finishes their season with two wins ending with an exciting three set match against Dundee! Western travelled to Milan Thursday for a tri to finish their season. Western first stepped on the court against Milan. Western converted almost every side out into additional points and came up with wins in both sets with scores 25-18 and 25-15 respectively. After sitting a match, the Panthers were back on the court for the final match of the evening. A slow start proved to be troublesome for the Panthers and they dropped set one 25-11. The Panthers then turned it up a notch and moved much better on defense. Back and forth scoring at the end of the set showed the Panthers willingness to fight and came up with a win 26-24. Set three was a great start with four straight points on the board for Western. Again, control of the scoreboard went back and forth between both teams but Western refused to back down and came up with a big win at 15-13 to take the match. What a way to finish the season!
