This week the Panthers took the long road trip to Hastings to take on the Saxons. The Panthers got off the bus a little sluggish and the slow start didn't help. The first half was filled with injuries and tough to get going. The second half had multiple players playing out of position but was very proud of those players who stepped up to the challenge. Kaiden Brown and Max Adams had their best performances of the season with Kaiden Brown having multiple big receptions and Max Adams having his best passing performance of the season. The defence was led by Giovanni Tinervia and Holden Bamm with multiple tackles and flying all over the field. Cole Levy played all over the field doing a great job filling in for injured players and often moved from one spot to the next with no complaint, just hard work. In the end the Saxons were just too much for the Panthers with the final score of 38-0. The Panthers will be playing their final middle school football game next week when we play host to the Mounties from Northwest.
