This past weekend the 7th Grade A team headed to Marshal for a tournament. The team finished 2-2-1. In pool play, the girls tied point for point with Pennfield, lost to Marshall, and beat Lakeview. Going into bracket play, Western was seeded 4th and got the opportunity to play Marshall again. The girls came ready to play and defeated Marshal in 2 sets to move forward in the bracket. Their final competition was Bronson and the girls fought hard for three sets but came up short (1-2). Overall, it was a great day where the girls displayed a lot of improvement, consistency, and teamwork! The Panthers are excited to be playing at home again this week.
