🏌️‍♀️ WESTERN GIRLS GOLF — 18-HOLE INVITATIONAL 🏌️‍♀️ “The scorecard may show the numbers, but it doesn’t show the perseverance, positive attitudes, and determination it took to finish all 18 holes.” Five Western JV girls competed in an 18-hole invitational at Hills Heart of the Lakes today, September 24, 2026. For girls who have not played an 18-hole round yet this season, today was a BIG challenge—and they rose to it! Perseverance, positive attitudes, and determination were certainly on display by each girl as they battled their way through a very challenging course. The Panthers finished 6th overall with a team score of 528. As their coach, I am truly in awe of their ability to power through some really tough situations today. I am also incredibly proud of the improvements I have seen in Aubrey, Jayda, Hailey, Emi, and Reagan throughout this season. They are learning the game so well, and I appreciate how willing they are to listen, learn, and accept coaching along the way. That is how you grow! Today, each girl had connections that resulted in some AMAZING shots! They rolled some incredible putts on some incredibly difficult greens, and we even had an AWESOME chip-in by Hailey Eicher! 🙌⛳️ But more than any shot, putt, or score, I am most proud of their perseverance and determination to finish. Eighteen holes is a long day, especially on a challenging course, and these girls never stopped fighting. WOW! Great job, ladies!
