WESTERN PANTHERS WIN THE SAU INVITE! The Western Varsity Volleyball team delivered an outstanding performance at the SAU Invite, finishing the tournament undefeated and bringing home the championship! During pool play, the Panthers defeated: Michigan Center: 25–22, 25–10, Jackson High: 25–11, 25–17, Napoleon: 25–12, 25–13 and Homer: 25–16, 25–12. Those victories placed Western first in its pool and advanced the Panthers to the semifinals. Western continued its strong play with a 25–14, 25–16 victory over Concord. In the championship match, the Panthers faced Hanover-Horton and earned the tournament title with an impressive 25–18, 25–16 win! Congratulations to Madi Redovich, who reached the incredible milestone of 1,000 career assists! Congratulations also to Ella Wilcox and Georgia Addleman for being selected to the SAU All-Tournament Team! The Panthers improve to 20–0 overall and remain 2–0 in the I8 Conference.
