The Freshman team went 1-1 at their first Tiri-meet of the season. They faced off against Galesburg Augusta in their first game of the night. Due to lots of commination, aggressive serving (15 aces) and being a dominate force on the net, the Lady Panthers would win the set 25-21, 25-23. The Lady Panther's would then take on Pewamo-Westphalia. The Panthers continued to serve aggressively and put back-to-back kills together to win the first match 25-12. The Pirates came out serving strong in the second match and due to lack of communication and movement on serve receive rallied back to win 25-23. Pewamo-Westphalia would continue on their serving streak, defeating the Lady Panthers 15-8.
